Simplification and Cost Reduction

One key outcome of the Multilateral Taxation Treaty proposed by Global 91 is its focus on simplifying and reducing administration and compliance costs for both taxpayers and tax collectors worldwide. This is achieved by introducing a modern global tax multilateral tax treaty to replace the thousands of bilateral tax treaties and the current tax treaty regime based on a model tax treaty designed by economists, not tax lawyers, in 1925. Our multilateral tax treaty introduces tax to the era of multiculturalism, globalisation, the digital economy, transcontinental electronic business models, crypto currencies, artific1al intelligence, online commercial activity, and so on.

1. Eliminating Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance

The treaty will provide a standardised approach to tax evasion and tax avoidance by removing the gaps and frictions between the tax treaties and domestic tax laws of trading partners, making it easier for governments to eliminate tax evasion and tax avoidance, introduce new, fairer taxes, and encourage businesses to understand their obligations in different treaty member countries. This clarity reduces the administrative burden for both taxpayers and tax collectors and encourages compliance across multiple countries.

2. Tax Changes in Brief

Global 91’s multilateral tax treaty will:

a. eliminate double taxation by simplifying residency rules for individuals and multinational businesses.

b. eliminate tax evasion and tax avoidanceby the adoption of s multilateral tax treaty that greatly simplifies anti-avoidance activities.

c. Introduction of new taxes designed to rationalise the global tax regime by shifting the tax burden predominately carried by workers to a more equitable distribution.

3. Encouraging Country and Provincial Development

Global 91’s Multilateral Tax Treaty encourages the development of new projects in new areas without  pressuring existing business. The Global 91 multilateral tax treaty activley encourages the development of new industries based on market trends and not in competition with existing businesses.

4. Support with Compliance and Education

Global 91 will provide information, business development guidance, free seminars on the simplification and increased effectiveness of the new Multilateral Tax Treaty by comparison to the current bilateral tax treaty regime with its uncontrolable tax evasion and avoidance, very high administration costs for both taxpayer and tax collector, and convoluted attempts to reverse the downward spiral.

Global 91’s Tax Authority has the resources to provide guidance to understand the new multilateral tax regime  new treaty, equipping businesses with the knowledge they need to navigate their obligations and maximise their employment of the available pargways to economic success.
